About Molly’s Makes and Cakes
Hi, I’m Molly, the face behind Molly’s Makes and Cakes!
My love of baking started long before the business did. I studied Catering at City College Norwich from 2016 to 2018, where I developed my skills and gained experience in food preparation, baking and catering.
In 2019, Molly’s Makes and Cakes began, and since then it has grown from making cakes and bakes into a busy little local business. I make a range of homemade cakes, traybakes, cookies, shortbread, cheese straws and other treats, alongside celebration cakes and seasonal bakes.
Everything is made with that homemade feel at the heart of it. I love traditional favourites such as Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut and chocolate fudge, as well as introducing different flavours and seasonal specials throughout the year.
Over the years, Molly’s Makes and Cakes has also grown beyond the kitchen. I now provide cakes and refreshments for local events and community activities, as well as serving Lavazza coffee, tea, hot chocolate and other drinks from my mobile setup.
Being part of the local community is a really important part of what I do. Whether you’re ordering a cake for a celebration, picking up a homemade bake, or enjoying a coffee at one of our events, I want Molly’s Makes and Cakes to feel friendly, personal and welcoming.
